St. Charles Home Flooded

This St. Charles home had the unfortunate flood within their home. Flood waters carry bacteria that penetrate wood due to their porous material. It is impossible to assure a wood floor is disinfected after a flood. The best course is to remove the floor and replace it with new. In this case the insurance carrier allowed for a brand new floor to keep the homeowner safe from harm.

We took out the contaminated floor, disinfected and sealed the subfloor and replaced it with this beautiful wood.

The homeowners love their new floor. It did take some time which is the norm for reconstruction work but the homeowners were very pleased with how it all turned out.
